I am a recent graduate of the George Washington Universit and a recently confirmed Roman Catholic. I am currently serving as an officer in the US Army, and I am excited about the opportunities and challenges in my profession, my travels, and various other interests. But I want my life to ultimately be directed by and to my faith – in the Army, in my relationships, in everything I do. That is my passion, and I love to write about it. I will also share pictures and commentary from travel and various events in my life here. But mainly, I will write about my faith, and what I am still learning about it through study, insights from popular culture, and from life. My intent is to share the joy that I have found not only in initially coming to Catholicism, but also from each small insight I gain into some new area of the faith, or how it applies to life, that I had not understood before. I hope what I write does that in some way for friends and family who may read this, and also for anyone I don’t know who stumbles upon my little slice of the internet.
